Privacy notice
Last updated .
This website is operated by Tim Richardson, an independent iOS consultant based in London, UK. If you have a question about this notice or the personal information I hold about you, email tim@timrichardson.co.
Information I collect
If you contact me, I receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, App Store link, project requirements and urgency. Please do not send passwords, source code, customer data or other confidential material through the website form.
How I use it
I use enquiry information to understand your request, respond, decide whether I can help, prepare a proposal where relevant, and keep an appropriate record of our correspondence. The usual lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where applicable, my legitimate interest in operating and protecting my consultancy business.
Who processes it
The website is hosted by Netlify. Form messages are sent through Resend to my business email provider. Those suppliers process limited technical or message data to provide their services and may process it outside the UK under their applicable safeguards.
Retention
Enquiries that do not become client work are normally deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. If we work together, relevant correspondence and records may be retained for longer where needed for the relationship, legal obligations, accounting or the establishment and defence of legal claims.
Cookies and analytics
This version of the website does not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or a visitor analytics service. Netlify may process basic request and security information to deliver and protect the site. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced, this notice and any consent mechanism will be updated first.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection in relation to your personal information. Email tim@timrichardson.co to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
